Garmin G3X TouchHow it works
The Garmin G3X Touch automatically saves flight and engine data to an SD card,
recording every second. A new data file is created whenever the system is powered on
with an SD card inserted or when an SD card is inserted after the system is running.
A 2 GB SD card can hold over 1,000 hours of flight data or up to 1,000 files, whichever limit is reached first.
The data files have a .csv extension and can be uploaded directly to FlySto.
Garmin recommends using an 8 GB SD card.
Notes
Some installers disable G3X data logging by default.
Please verify data logging is enabled for your G3X by consulting with
approved and/or certified personnel and/or maintenance organizations to power on the G3X
in configuration mode by holding down the Menu button during power up,
selecting Data Log and enabling SD Card Data Logging.
