GDL 60

Overview

The GDL 60 acts as a hub for the Garmin PlaneSync connected aircraft management system. It automatically uploads flight logs to the Garmin Cloud after landing via LTE or Wi-Fi. Once the data is in the Garmin Cloud, it can be automatically transferred to FlySto via a server-to-server connection.

How it works

Step 1: Automatic Upload via PlaneSync
The GDL 60 utilizes Garmin PlaneSync to automatically offload flight data.
  1. Ensure Connection: The GDL 60 will automatically upload flight logs to the Garmin Cloud upon landing when an LTE or Wi-Fi connection is available.
Step 2: Connect flyGarmin to FlySto
To enable the automatic transfer from Garmin's cloud to FlySto, you must link your accounts:
  1. Log into the flyGarmin Website.
  2. Select Logbook and then Sharing (located under Aircraft Logbook).
  3. Select Connect Account next to FlySto.
  4. Log in to your FlySto account when prompted to authorize the connection.
  5. Once connected, click Manage Sharing next to FlySto.
  6. Click Share Logs next to each specific aircraft you wish to sync.
